Welcome to God Is...Women's Retreat

Come to the beautiful North Carolina mountain town of Burnsville for a unique experience deepening your personal discovery of who GOD IS. What better way to expand your spiritual connection with the LORD than to spend a weekend encountering Him in a variety of ways. Your time will be filled with fun, laughter, learning, Scripture, prayer, and so much more. This is your opportunity to getaway, grow in relationship with the Father, and clearly define who GOD IS for you. 

Friday-Sunday, July 29-31, 2022

Location: High Pastures Conference Center,
​290 Kings Highway, Burnsville, NC
(45 minutes north of Asheville, NC)

What to expect:
  • Rest, renew your walk and direction with the Lord
  • Learn some new ways to hear from God
  • Make some new friends
  • Group and Individual Projects
  • Laugh, hug, and have fun

Who can come?
All ladies 16 and up are welcome to attend. If you are 16-17, a parent or guardian is required; sorry no child-care available. 

What to bring:
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes; jacket as it gets chilly in the mountains at night
  • Lawn-chair for our outside God Is...activities
  • Pen and Bible
  • Toiletries (sheets/blankets/towels are provided)
  • Snacks to share, your favorite drink, coffee creamer, etc. (Refrigerator provided)

COST: STAYING OVERNIGHT: $210 and it includes
  • 2 Nights stay 
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday, Breakfast on Sunday
  • Teaching/Materials/Prayer Experience, Group and Individual Activities
  • Snacks, Coffee, Water
  • Deposit of 50% or all due to hold your spot/bed. Remaining amount due by July 15th, 2022.

Kris Swiatocho

Vivacious. Knowledgeable. Passionate. That's Kris Swiatocho, Director of Kris Swiatocho Ministries.​ For over 30 years, Kris has served in ministry worldwide. She is an author of 8 books including her most recent, Intentional Relationships.

Founder of Refining Ministry in Canyon, Texas. Genna is a Speaker, writer and author of Spiritual Growth Studies and workshops Latest book: Crown the Sword

Robin Gonzales

Robin is one of the directors for Refining Ministries. She is also Involved in Women's Ministry and Spiritual Growth Advocacy in Waco, Texas.
