Power Healing Retreat for Only 20 Women
September 12-14, 2025

High Pastures Retreat Center, Burnsville, NC (Mountains)

1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

Restoration Experience Weekend

Welcome to a weekend of healing by disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with God.

Restoration Experience weekend is for you if:
  • You are a woman 18 or older.
  • You find yourself stuck and repeating the same patterns over and over again? You recognize the damaging effects but feel powerless to make a change.
  • Your internal dialog is primarily negative, critical or self-condemning?
  • You have head knowledge of who God says you are, but you can’t seem to get the head knowledge to make its way to your heart.
  • Unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment have rooted up in your heart, and you’re struggling to release it.
  • Anxiety or fear bullies you into believing lies such as “no one will ever understand,” “you’re not good enough,” or “you’re all alone.”
  • Although you’ve worked hard to heal, you still seem triggered by past hurts or offenses.
  • You want to learn what God’s word says about healing emotional wounds.
  • You want to learn and develop a battle plan for spiritual warfare.

The Lord hears you; He knows your heart, struggles, and desire for change. He has not forgotten you. He wants to heal and restore you!

Who are the leaders/teachers?
Kris Swiatocho is the director of Kris Swiatocho Ministries and The Singles Network Ministries, and Michelle Hipp, LCSW, Counseling, Summit Wellness Center.

Note: The Restoration Experience was developed in 2016 by Kris Swiatocho Ministries. In 2024, Kris partnered with Licensed Clinical Social Worker Michelle Hipp, updating and expanding the experience making it an even more powerful weekend of healing.

Where is the Restoration Experience weekend located?
At the beautiful and peaceful grounds of the High Pastures Christian Retreat Center, Poplar Place Lodge, 290 Kings Highway in Burnsville, North Carolina  (45 minutes north of Asheville, NC, in the amazing Blue Ridge mountains) • (828) 682-3138
What can I expect at the Restoration Experience weekend?
The Restoration Experience is for 20 women who genuinely want to experience divine healing from the Holy Spirit through:
  • Encouraging teaching by Michelle Hipp and Kris Swiatocho
  • Worship
  • Small and large group breakout discussions
  • Prayer experiences
  • Interactive projects, individual and group assignments

The Restoration Experience is a chance to come face to face with the things in your life that need to change. Come and disconnect from the world and reconnect to God. While this weekend has a clinical component and opportunities for one-on-one talk with Michelle and Kris, it is not designed for individual therapy sessions.

Why only 20 women?
We have found that you get a better overall experience with a smaller group. You get the extra time with the teachers and each other. It also makes it easier to build friendships, share experiences, and apply what the Holy Spirit is telling you.

When You Arrive:
Check-in starts at 4 pm. Arrive and unpack, walk the grounds, rest, and join us for dinner at 6 pm in the dining hall. Testimonials

This was such a wonderful retreat! I highly encourage any women needing refreshing, wanting to draw closer to God, or heal deep hurts from past to pray about going! It is in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in NC! — Laronda A.
What a great retreat! I feel so refreshed. It was a wonderful experience! I would recommend this to everyone! Thank you Kris and Michelle for the great teaching as you were led by the Holy Spirit! I totally recommend going to this! I went and it was such an amazing experience!! --Laura T.
I had an amazing experience connecting with God and seeking His plans for my life, both past and present. I realized how our past experiences, both good and bad, can help others navigate their own trauma. It's about being an encouragement rather than an enabler, which is truly God's work. I arrived at the retreat feeling overwhelmed from working long hours. Last week, I went through four interviews, spent hours tackling chores around the house, and dedicated time to my son. Even though I accomplished so much, I felt like I had been run over by a semi-truck. Stress and lack of sleep made every part of my body ache, and my overactive mind craved the quietness of the retreat. During those hours of prayer and reading God's word, I felt as if the scriptures were speaking to me in numerous ways. The women I met were incredible—there was no drama, just great food and a much-needed opportunity to rest and recharge. It allowed me to grow stronger in God's love and understanding, helping me to decompress and slow down. Those who truly know me understand that I am often rushing in a million directions. Thank you, Kris Swiatocho and Michelle Hipp, for an incredible weekend! —Michelle M.
Several times in the past, I have attended one of Kris' conferences or retreats, but the Restoration Experience was very different. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by what I thought would be a rather intense weekend, and it was in an environment that was comforting and genuinely caring. Most of the women were new acquaintances, but by the time we left, we were all friends and hoped to stay in touch. Moreover, Kris was very engaged in this more intimate setting, and we were all devoted to one another in our journey. The Restoration Experience is genuine, as Jesus walked with us every step of the way. There was this sense of community that the disciples must have experienced. Kris was very interactive with us. We all were at different levels and points throughout the weekend. By the end, we all left refreshed and renewed. It's hard to describe, but it truly is a Restoration Experience!
—Susan H.

"My experience at Restoration Weekend was all and more than I anticipated. I started my weekend with something I thought I needed to deal with, but the Holy Spirit revealed what I needed to let go of! We dug deep, and more layers peeled back, exposing deep wounds. I experienced revelation, healing, and freedom! "
—Kathy P.

High Pastures Christians Retreat Center was breathtaking; the fellowship was sweet, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the teaching was fervent and insightful.  But as amazing as those things were, it was my time spent in the presence of God that allowed restoration to take place. I walked in, dragging the dead weight of my burdens as if packed in my luggage. I felt worn out and exhausted and hoped to quench my soul's dry and thirsty places. On Sunday morning, as the cool, crisp mountain air chilled my cheeks, the Holy Spirit began to work in my heart. One by one, the Lord started to name my burdens: fear, uncertainty, unforgiveness... and as He did this, a new leaf would fall from the tree, seven in all. I knew that the falling of the leaves represented the loosening of my burdens. One by one, I laid them down at the cross and traded them in for the precious promises of Christ. I entered Restoration Weekend with a heaviness on my spirit, but I left feeling renewed, recharged, and restored. I highly recommend attending a Restoration Weekend; sign up and allow God to do the rest.
—Michelle E.
