Restoration Experience WeekendWelcome to Restoration Experience!
A weekend of healing by disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with God. Restoration Experience weekend is for you if:
The Lord hears you; He knows your heart, struggles, and desire for change. He has not forgotten you. He wants to heal and restore you! Who are the leaders/teachers? Kris Swiatocho is the director of Kris Swiatocho Ministries and The Singles Network Ministries, and Michelle Hipp, LCSW, Counseling, Summit Wellness Center. Note: The Restoration Experience was developed in 2016 by Kris Swiatocho Ministries. This year, in 2024, partnering with Licensed Clinical Social Worker Michelle Hipp, it’s been updated and expanded, making it an even more powerful weekend of healing. Where is the Restoration Experience weekend located? At the beautiful and peaceful grounds of the High Pastures Christian Retreat Center, Poplar Place Lodge, 290 Kings Highway in Burnsville, North Carolina (45 minutes north of Asheville, NC, in the amazing Blue Ridge mountains) • (828) 682-3138 >Map of trails >Map of grounds Note: For privacy purposes, we do not post any pictures of the attendees. What can I expect at the Restoration Experience weekend?
The Restoration Experience is for 20 women who genuinely want to experience divine healing from the Holy Spirit through:
The Restoration Experience is a chance to come face to face with the things in your life that need to change. Come and disconnect from the world and reconnect to God. While this weekend has a clinical component and opportunities for one-on-one talk with Michelle and Kris, it is not designed for individual therapy sessions. Why only 20 women? We have found that you get a better overall experience with a smaller group. You get the extra time with the teachers and each other. It also makes it easier to build friendships, share experiences, and apply what the Holy Spirit is telling you. When You Arrive: Check-in starts at 4 pm. Arrive and unpack, walk the grounds, rest, and join us for dinner at 6 pm in the dining hall. The Restoration Experience starts promptly at 7 pm in the Poplar Place Lodge meeting space. Throughout the Weekend: Please come prepared to stay on campus for the whole weekend. We ask that you limit your cell phone use to emergencies only. Please do not bring your phone to our main sessions, group discussions, or prayer experiences. This allows limited distractions and better focus to experience the weekend fully. Note: This is a non-smoking or vaping campus. Also, no pets are allowed. This is an all-ladies weekend, so feel free to dress comfortably. Bring your favorite snacks (and some to share), soft drinks, water, coffee creamer, etc. Coffee will be provided. Make sure you bring your physical Bible and a pen. After you register, you will get a more detailed email with what to bring. What does it cost? It costs $299, including two nights (in a shared room, separate beds), five meals, snacks, a notebook, and retreat materials. Due to the uniqueness of this event and the limited spaces available, full payment is required at the time of your registration to guarantee your space. Your registration fee is non-refundable but transferable. Meals: Our meals are provided by the High Pastures Retreat Center. A menu will be made available upon request. Please let us know if you have special dietary needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Meals included Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Sunday lunch is on your own but we encourage you to eat together in Burnsville. Check-out is Sunday, 12:30 pm. What’s included in my room? Linens, pillows, blankets, towels, washcloths, travel sized shampoo and conditioner, paper towels, and toilet paper are provided. Feel free to bring a personal pillow, blanket, soap, etc. There are no blow dryers or irons. We also suggest bringing a personal fan if needed. Remember, you will share a room with one or more guests, but you will have your own bed. |
